Coroner Releases Name of Man Shot to Death in Covina

A man shot to death in an unincorporated area near Covina was publicly identified Monday.
Jonathan Hoskins, 33, was a Covina resident, coroner’s Lt. Larry Dietz said. He died from gunshot wounds to the chest, the coroner’s web site said.
The shooting was reported about 3:10 p.m. Wednesday in the 21000 block of Arrow Highway in the Charter Oak area, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.
The victim now identified as Hoskins was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, a deputy at the Sheriff’s Information Bureau said.
The shooting was at an apartment complex, Fox11 reported.
