Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash in Mid City

A man in his 60s was struck by a hit-and-run vehicle and killed Friday morning outside the Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles Medical Center in the Mid-City section of Los Angeles.
Police responded to the intersection of Cadillac Avenue and Venice Boulevard about 2:20 a.m. and located the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
There is a crosswalk nearby, but it was unclear if the victim was in the crosswalk at the time of the crash, ABC7 reported.
A description of the suspect vehicle was not immediately available.
The LAPD West Traffic Division investigated the crash.
