57-Year-Old Man Detained in Stabbing of Another in La Habra

A 57-year-old man was hospitalized in critical condition Monday and the 49-year-old man suspected of stabbing him was detained by police in La Habra, authorities said.

It was reported just after 8 p.m. Sunday at Monte Vista Street and La Habra Boulevard, police said.

The victim and suspect were involved in an altercation, police said. The victim suffered multiple stab wounds and was transported to a trauma center, they said.

The suspect was cooperating with investigators, police said.
