Armed, Masked Man Robs Menifee Bank

A suspect who used a gun to rob a bank in Menifee was at-large Saturday morning.
Deputies responded to a reported bank robbery in the 30000 block of Haun Road at 1 p.m. Friday and an investigation determined a man wearing a mask walked into the bank, pulled a gun and demanded money, according to Sgt. John Burke of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
A widespread search of the area was conducted by deputies, but the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash, Burke said.
No injuries were reported.
