Armed, Masked Man Robs Menifee Bank

by Contributing Editor

A suspect who used a gun to rob a bank in Menifee was at-large Saturday morning.

Deputies responded to a reported bank robbery in the 30000 block of Haun Road at 1 p.m. Friday and an investigation determined a man wearing a mask walked into the bank, pulled a gun and demanded money, according to Sgt. John Burke of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

A widespread search of the area was conducted by deputies, but the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash, Burke said.

No injuries were reported.

Anyone with information about this crime was asked to call Deputy Brown at the Perris Sheriff’s Station at 951-210-1120.
