Santa Ana Police Ask for Help Finding Teen with Missing 51-Year-Old Friend

Santa Ana police Friday asked for the public’s help tracking down a teen who told her mother she was with a friend, also reported missing.

Maria Fernanda Garzon last spoke to her mother about 8 p.m. Sunday, when she said she was with a 51-year-old friend, Jose Maria Rumbo-Salinas, police said.

Rumbo-Salinas was also reported missing to Anaheim police on Friday. He was last seen Sunday about 2 p.m., police said.

Garzon is Latino and is 5-foot-2 and weighs 130 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.

Rumbo-Salinas is 5-foot-6 and weighs 220 pounds.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call detectives at 714-245-8545.
