A stolen vehicle suspect who fled following a crash during a brief chase in Glendale was arrested following a three-hour search of the area.

The vehicle pursuit started about 3:20 p.m. near Los Olivos Lane and Lauderdale Avenue, and ended 10 minutes later in a crash near the intersection of Lowell Avenue and Honolulu Avenue, but no one was injured, according to Sgt. Dan Suttles of the Glendale Police Department.

The suspect fled the vehicle southbound on Lowell Avenue, which goes under the Foothill (210) Freeway and up into some hills, Suttles said.

Officers found the male suspect about 6:10 p.m. in thick brush on a hillside in the area, according to Sgt. Ralph Garcia of the Glendale Police Department. The exact location the man was found was not available.
