3-acre brush fire burning in Hollywood Hills

Firefighters are battling a brush fire in the Hollywood Hills on Saturday afternoon, authorities said.

At least three acres have burned amid heavy brush along slopes in the area of 3694 North Barham Boulevard, according to Los Angeles Fire Department officials.

With low winds, the fire has been moving at a slow rate.

A thick column of smoke could be seen throughout the surrounding area and beyond.
