One dead, another critical in Roscoe Boulevard traffic crash near Van Nuys Airport

VAN NUYS — A traffic crash in the Van Nuys area Thursday morning left one person dead and another critically injured.

The crash was reported about 7 a.m. on the 16400 block of Roscoe Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The crash scene is just north of Van Nuys Airport in the Van Nuys/North Hills area.

One person died at the scene, and the other was taken to a hospital. The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
