Coroner ID’s Man Found Dead from Drug Overdose in Lake Balboa Park

A man found dead from an apparent drug overdose in the Lake Balboa area was publicly identified Monday.
No city of residence was available for Richard Enderle, 47, coroner’s Lt. Larry Dietz said. An autopsy was pending to confirm the cause of death.
The body was discovered at 1:40 a.m. Saturday, said Officer Jason Lee of the LAPD’s Media Relations Section. Foul play was not suspected.
The man now identified as Enderle may have been found in a homeless encampment, according to sources at the scene.
