Police responded to a home in the 1300 block of West 48th Street near Normandie Avenue about 1:40 p.m. Monday and a SWAT team was called to the location a short time later, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The suspect was taken into custody about 12:30 a.m., police said.

Details of what led up to the dispute with neighbors and the officer-involved shooting were not immediately available.
