ARLETA — One person was shot, possibly fatally, in an officer-involved shooting in the Arleta-Pacoima area on Monday.
There has been an Officer-Involved Shooting in Pacoima, in the area of Ottoman St and Bartee Ave. A Public Information Officer is responding to the scene and we will provide more details as they become available.

The shooting was reported shortly before 5 p.m. in the area of Ottoman Street and Bartee Avenue. Los Angeles police confirmed the gunfire was an officer-involved shooting, but did not immediately release any details.
Police told KTLA5 that officers responded to a family disturbance call, and shots were fired after officers made contact with a person at the scene.
Aerial news footage from the area showed a person down in an alley, apparently lifeless. Fox11 showed what appeared to be a rifle on the ground nearby.
Dozens of officers responded to the area, and there were unconfirmed reports that two people had been taken into custody.
There were no reports of any injuries to officers.
