Coroner Releases Names in Beaumont Murder-Suicide

by Contributing Editor

The Riverside County coroner’s office Saturday released the names of the three people who died in what investigators believe was a murder-suicide at a home in Beaumont.

Bradley Wallace, 45, Tracy Shelby, 46, and Deborah Shelby, 68, were Beaumont residents, the coroner’s office said.

Officers discovered the grisly scene after responding to several reports of gunshots at 5:30 p.m. Friday in the 34000 block of Crenshaw Street, the Beaumont Police Department said.

They found a woman lying in the driveway of a home suffering from a gunshot wound, authorities said.

A neighbor told ABC7 she heard three or four gunshots.

“I had my husband go outside to check and he … saw the lady lying down, covered in blood,” Zarah Bernales told the station.

Officers secured the scene and requested the assistance of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department’s SWAT team, which helped Beaumont police search the home. When officers entered the home, they found a man and a woman dead from gunshot wounds, police said. All three died before officers arrived.

Based on preliminary evidence, investigators said they believed the fatal shooting was a murder-suicide, but no further information was immediately released.
