Detectives in Riverside County asked for the public’s help Wednesday morning in locating a San Jacinto man suspected in a pair of attempted kidnapping within days of each other.
Deputies responded to the area of Esplanade and San Jacinto avenues Sunday to a call of a man trying to lure a 15-year-old juvenile into his vehicle, described as a black, four-door, Nissan sedan with Arizona license plate number CEJ2788, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
The suspect, identified as Billie Fenter, 40, was later arrested on suspicion of annoying and molesting a child, the sheriff’s department said.
On Tuesday, deputies received another report of an attempted kidnapping at the same intersection and the description of the suspect matched Fenter, who authorities later learned had bailed out of jail Monday, the RCSD said.
The victim in Tuesday’s incident identified Fenter as the suspect and a search for Fenter was conducted, but he was not located, the sheriff’s department said.
A detailed description of Fenter was not immediately available.
Anyone with information about Fenter’s whereabouts was asked to call the San Jacinto sheriff’s station at 951-776-1099.
