One Killed in Shooting in Pomona, Suspect Sought

The shooter who killed a person in the front yard of a home in Pomona was at-large Friday morning.

The shooting was reported about 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the 1500 block of Grand Avenue, near Butterfield Road, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

A witness told police they heard arguing between two people before hearing gunshots, NBC4 reported.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

A detailed description of the shooter was not immediately available.
