Police Seek Two Suspected of Cuffing, Hogtying Robbery Victim

Police Wednesday released video of two men who robbed a wholesale jeweler who was handcuffed and hogtied at gunpoint inside his home in downtown Los Angeles.
The robbery occurred about 5:10 p.m. Saturday, when the suspects agreed to meet the victim at his home in the area of Seventh Street and Broadway, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
“Once inside the victim’s residence … the suspects produced handguns, handcuffed and hogtied the victim and ransacked the apartment,” according to a police statement. “The suspects fled with the victim’s cash, jewelry and clothing.”
Surveillance video released by the LAPD shows the suspects, both between 18 and 30 years old, entering and leaving the residence. Detailed descriptions of the suspects were not immediately available. They were last seen fleeing in an awaiting black SUV, police said.
