Two California tea party activists accused of ‘misleading’ donations scheme

California Atty. Gen. Xavier Becerra has sued a group of veteran GOP activists including a former legislator, accusing them of misusing a charity that sends care packages to soldiers by diverting resources to for-profit firms and to promote the Tea Party Express and a political agenda.
