Big Rig Overturns on Antelope Valley Freeway, Closing Highway

A big rig overturned Wednesday morning on the northbound Antelope Valley (14) Freeway and prompted the closure of all northbound lanes until at least 5 a.m.

The accident occurred about 12:15 a.m. just north of the Agua Dulce Canyon Road exit, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Traffic was being diverted off at Agua Dulce Canyon Road, the CHP said.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
