Officials have identified a suspect in a murder-suicide who died along with another person at a home in Sun Valley earlier this week.
Los Angeles County Coroner’s investigators on Wednesday named Perry Forman, 63, as one of two people killed inside a house at 11225 Covello Street at about 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 19. Detectives believe he shot a woman multiple times before turning a gun on himself, said Los Angeles Police Officer Tony Im. Authorities recovered the gun at the scene.
At approx 7pm a murder-suicide occurred in the 11200 block of Covello St. A female adult with multiple gunshot wounds & a male adult with a gunshot wound and a handgun were located. After a search of the home officers located a 2 yr old child unharmed, who is now in police care.

The woman and Forman were both found dead by responding officers. Police have not announced a possible motive for the crime.
The woman killed was described as an Asian woman in her 30’s, said Sarah Ardalani, a spokeswoman for the coroner’s office.
A 2-year old girl was also inside of the home at the time. The child was taken to the LAPD North Hollywood Station on Monday evening. The Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services would typically take custody of minors left in similar situations, said Im.
Jaime Vazquez, 42, lives next door to scene house where the murder-suicide happened. He said Forman lived there with his wife and 2-year-old daughter.
Neighbors said the couple kept to themselves, and had been having marital problems recently. Police visited the home in response to a domestic dispute about five days prior to the shooting, Vazquez said.
