Santa Ana Police Searching for Missing Rehab Patient

A 55-year-old man who reportedly has the mental capacity of a child and was recently admitted to a rehabilitation center went missing Saturday in Santa Ana and authorities sought public help to find him.

Tach Van Truong was recently admitted to Advanced Rehabilitation Center, at 2210 E. First St., for psychiatric help but climbed out his room window and left the facility in an unknown direction at an unknown time, Santa Ana police said.

Truong is Asian. He stands 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who knows his whereabouts was asked to call Santa Ana police at 714-834-4211 or 911.
