Man Killed By Hit-And-Run Motorist in North Hollywood

A 35-year-old man was struck and killed by a hit-and-run motorist at a freeway overpass in North Hollywood, police said Saturday.

The death occurred on Victory Boulevard at the Hollywood (170) Freeway overpass, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.

A dark-colored SUV was going eastbound on Victory at about 8:30 p.m. Friday, when it struck the man, who was in the road crossing in a southbound direction.

The driver fled the scene, and paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

LAPD Valley Traffic Division detectives urged anyone who saw the crash to call them at 818-644-8115.
