by Contributing Editor

A man was seriously injured Wednesday afternoon in a stabbing in Culver City in what police describe as a possible road rage incident.

Officers were flagged down by a witness about 5:10 p.m. near Venice and Sepulveda boulevards, according to the Culver City Police Department.

The victim, who was found suffering several stab wounds to his back, was taken to a hospital for his injuries, which are serious but not life-threatening, according to police.

Investigators think the victim may have been stabbed during a road rage incident. The two men fled the scene in a vehicle, but further information was not released.

Anyone with information about the stabbing was encouraged to call the Culver City Police Department’s watch commander at 310-253-6202.
