City attorney drops all charges against anti-Trump protest group that LAPD spied on

After three years and multiple retrials, the city attorney’s office has dropped charges against a group of protesters who blocked the 101 Freeway in 2017. The prosecution led to the revelation that the LAPD had sent an informant to infiltrate the non-violent protest group, Refuse Fascism.
