Man Dies After Being Thrown from Bicycle in Corona

A 30-year-old bicyclist riding through a Corona intersection was fatally injured when he hit a curb and overturned, police said Monday.

Brady Alexandru of Corona died about 6 p.m. Sunday at Via Pacifica and Willowspring Lane.

According to Corona police, the victim struck the curb, fell off his bike and onto his head.

Paramedics reached the location within a few minutes and pronounced Alexandru dead at the scene.

Investigators said nothing has been ruled out, including the possibility that alcohol or drugs may have been factors in the fatality.
