Man, 20, Shot And Killed in West Puente Valley, Shooter Remains at Large

A 20-year-old La Puente man was fatally shot in the West Puente Valley area of the San Gabriel Valley and detectives were searching for his killer, according to the sheriff’s department.
The shooting happened just before midnight Saturday at the intersection of Giordano Street and Glenshaw Drive, the sheriff’s department reported.
The victim, who was later identified by the coroner’s office as Alfredo Reyes, suffered a gunshot wound to his chest, the LASD reported. Reyes died at the scene.
A motive for the shooting was unknown.
No suspect information was available.
