Four people were taken to hospitals Saturday after a three-vehicle crash in south Los Angeles, authorities said.
The crash was reported at 1:50 p.m. on Avalon Boulevard at 120th Street, said Sgt. C. Perkins of the Los Angeles Police Department’s South Traffic Division.
“It looked worse than it actually was,” Perkins said.
One vehicle rear-ended another vehicle stopped on southbound Avalon, then struck another vehicle before rolling over and landing on its wheels, he said.
One woman suffered a fractured pelvis and three people were taken to hospitals after complaining of pain, he said. Two of those people had been in the rolled-over vehicle, and ejected.
