‘Mercy’ Navy Hospital Ship In LA Coronavirus Battle A ‘Government Takeover’ Plot? Train Crash Engineer Arrested
by Editor

A train engineer at the Port of Los Angeles has been arrested on suspicion of intentionally crashing a locomotive near the Navy hospital ship Mercy, allegedly claiming the ship has an “alternate purpose” for being docked there, possibly a “government takeover.”
Federal prosecutors say Eduardo Moreno, 44, of San Pedro, ran the train at full speed off the end of railroad tracks on Tuesday afternoon.
No injuries were reported, and the train crashed more than 250 yards from the Navy ship.
The “Mercy” hospital ship docked in Los Angeles after a trip from San Diego to provide about 1,000 beds for patients suffering mainly from non-coronavirus problems in order to make room at Los Angeles-area hospitals that are expecting to be inundated with coronavirus victims.
No other details were immediately available.
