A shooting in Glendale left one man dead and another man wounded, and police Monday were trying to determine a motive and whether there was more than one suspect involved.

The shooting was reported about 10:25 p.m. Sunday in the 1100 block of North Central Avenue, said Glendale police Lt. Dan Suttles.

A man in his 40s died at the scene and a man in his 30s was taken to a hospital in critical condition, Suttles said. The victims’ names were not released.

One or more males were seen leaving the area, Suttles said, but no further description was available.
