Coroner IDs Man Killed in South Los Angeles Shooting

Coroner’s officials Sunday released the name of a 58-year-old man who was killed in a shooting in the Manchester Square community of Los Angeles that also left another man wounded.
The fatal shooting victim was identified as Los Angeles resident Raymond Lawson, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
The shooting was reported about 7 p.m. Saturday at 83rd Street and Halldale Avenue, according to Lt. N. Driller of the Los Angeles Police Department’s 77th Street Station.
The wounded man was taken to a hospital with stable vital signs, Driller said.
The motive and suspect information were not available, he said.
