Woman’s Body Found Near Alhambra Golf Course

A woman’s body was discovered Friday near a golf course in Alhambra.

The body was found about 12:30 p.m. in the 600 block of Almansor Street near the entrance of the Alhambra Golf Course, according to Deputy Erin Liu of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau. Alhambra Golf Course is inside Almansor Park, near Mission Road and Ramona Street.

There was no immediate word on the cause of death or the woman’s identity.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department was assisting the Alhambra Police Department in the investigation, Liu said.
