Authorities ID Man Fatally Stabbed in Florence Area

Authorities Friday identified a homeless man who was fatally stabbed in the Florence area of the county.
Karl Braggs, 58, was stabbed about 7:15 a.m. Thursday in the 7600 block of Whitsett Avenue and died at the scene, according to the coroner’s office and the sheriff’s department.
Sheriff’s Century Station deputies sent to the location found Braggs suffering from at least one stab wound to his chest, the sheriff’s department reported.
No arrests were reported, and no suspect description was available.
