Fire damaged a pizzeria in Koreatown Wednesday morning and injured one person and a dog.

Firefighters responded to the 3200 block of Wilshire Boulevard at 3:30 a.m. and located a fire in a business on the bottom level of a three-story building, according to Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

One person and a dog were evaluated by paramedics for breathing problems, Prange said. The age, name and gender of the person were not disclosed. No other injuries were reported.

A total of 79 firefighters extinguished the fire in 24 minutes, he said.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
