Man Killed in Long Beach Shooting, Suspect At Large

A man died from wounds suffered in a shooting in Long Beach and the suspect was at large Saturday morning.

Officers responded to a call of a shooting in the 1500 block of Magnolia Avenue, near 15th Street, at 11 p.m. Friday and located the victim, who had sustained gunshot wounds to his upper body, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

Long Beach Fire Department paramedics took the victim to a hospital, where he died, police said.

A detailed description of the suspect was not immediately available and the motive for the shooting was unclear.
