VAN NUYS — A person was found dead Tuesday of apparent natural causes in Van Nuys, authorities said.

The body was discovered about 6:20 a.m. near a vehicle on the 7300 block of Ranchito Avenue, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.

Information was not immediately available on the identity or gender of the person.
