Woman Fatally Stabbed in Vernon

A woman was fatally stabbed in Vernon Sunday.

The killing in the 2500 block of 27th Street was reported at 2:08 p.m., said Los Angeles County sheriff’s Deputy Morgan Arteaga.

The LASD was assisting the Vernon police in investigating the homicide.

The woman’s name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.

There was no known motive behind the stabbing or suspect information.
