64-Year-Old Man Killed In Gardena Crash

A 64-year-old man was fatally injured Wednesday in a collision in Gardena.

Thomas Cary Davis Jr., of Los Angeles, was driving a Dodge Ram northbound on Van Ness Avenue, north of 139th Street, shortly before 10:30 a.m., when the van rear-ended a vehicle, according to Gardena Police Department Lt. Christopher Cuff, who said a third vehicle also sustained damage.

Davis was taken to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where he died, Cuff said.
