Police Looking for 23-Year-Old Man Who Went Missing in Palm Springs in July

Authorities asked the public for help Wednesday in locating a 23-year-old man who went missing in Palm Springs over the summer.

Ruben Lopez was last seen July 9 near his home in the 1900 block of Golden Sands Drive, according to the Desert Hot Springs Police Department.

He was described as being 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing 145 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Lopez has three tattoos — “Lopez” across his right forearm, a heart and arrow on his right forearm and “Lil Ruben” on his right bicep, police said.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts was urged to call Detective Eddie Cole at 760-329-6411, ext. 294.
