One Injured in South Los Angeles Shooting

One person was wounded Thursday evening in a shooting in South Los Angeles.

The shooting occurred near Figueroa Street and Gage Avenue about 10:10 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The victim got into a vehicle and went to a hospital in unknown condition, police said.

A motive for the shooting and description of the shooter were not immediately available.
