25-Year-Old Man Arrested For Allegedly Shooting Into Home in Cypress

A 25-year-old man was arrested Thursday for allegedly shooting into a home in Cypress, but no one was struck.

Jason Lee McKenzie, of Buena Park, allegedly shot into the home near Bishop and Watson streets, then fled in a vehicle, according to the Cypress Police Department. The time of the shooting was not immediately available.

Officers apprehended McKenzie and arrested him on suspicion of discharging a firearm and brandishing a firearm at a witness while fleeing, police said. The firearm was recovered.
