Woman Fatally Struck By Several Vehicles While Walking on Road in Seal Beach

A woman was struck by several vehicles while walking in a roadway in Seal Beach and died at a hospital, police reported Friday.

The woman, who was not immediately identified, was fatally injured about 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the area of Adolfo Lopez Drive and Seal Beach Boulevard, said Seal Beach police Sgt. Nick Nicholas.

The motorists involved were uninjured and remained at the scene to speak with investigators, who determined the woman was walking in the northbound lanes of traffic when she was struck, he said.

Seal Beach police traffic investigators urged anyone with any information regarding the fatality to call them at 562-799-4100, ext. 1623.
