Man And Woman Shot In Vermont Square Area

A man and a woman, both 45 years old, were shot Thursday afternoon in South Los Angeles.

The shooting occurred about 4:10 p.m. near 47th and Hoover streets, according to Officer Tony Im of the Los Angeles Police Department.

The male suspect was last seen in a black sedan going eastbound on 47th Street from Hoover Street, Im said. He is described as 5 feet, 6 inches tall with dreadlocks and all black clothing.

The two victims were conscious and breathing when they were taken to a hospital, according to Im.
