24-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies After Crash In Long Beach

A 24-year-old motorcyclist from Orange died after a crash in Long Beach, police said Wednesday.

The crash occurred when a 2012 Porsche Panamera pulled out in front of a 2020 Honda motorcycle, driven by Derrick Mora, on Pacific Coast Highway, west of Ximeno Avenue, on Saturday about 7:15 p.m., according to the Long Beach Police Department.

Mora was taken to a hospital, where he died on Tuesday, police said.

Investigators do not believe distracted or impaired driving was a factor in the crash, and further details were not released.
