Man Killed, Two Teens Wounded in Moreno Valley Shooting

A 22-year-old man was gunned down and two teenagers were wounded in an attack on a Moreno Valley street, with no word Tuesday on the possible whereabouts of the assailant.
Daniel Gonzalez of Moreno Valley was fatally wounded at about 9 p.m. Monday in the 22900 block of Allies Place, near Courage Street, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Sgt. Ben Ramirez said deputies were called to the location to investigate reports of a shooting and found the victims together.
Gonzalez was pronounced dead at the scene minutes later by paramedics. The two boys, whose identities were not disclosed, were taken to Riverside University Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening wounds, Ramirez said.
A possible motive for the attack was not provided, and there was no description of the shooter.
The sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit is investigating. Anyone with information was asked to contact detectives at 951-955-2777.
