Man Killed in Anaheim Hotel

A man was shot in an Anaheim hotel room Saturday and died at a hospital.

It was reported at 1:30 p.m. at the Candlewood Suites, 1733 S. Anaheim Blvd., according to Anaheim police Sgt. Shane Carringer.

The man was shot at least once and found near the hotel entrance, Carringer said. His name was not released pending notification of relatives.

“The shooting is suspected to be gang related,” he said.
