One Dead in Winchester Crash

One person died Saturday in a rollover crash in Winchester, east of Menifee.

It was reported at 3:15 p.m., involving a white SUV and black pickup at Winchester Road (Highway 79) and Abelia Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Witnesses told the CHP that the SUV overturned and went off the roadway.

One victim was pronounced dead at the scene and three people suffered minor injuries, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
