Police Saturday circulated a photo of a 90-year-old man suffering from advanced dementia, who was last seen Aug. 21 in West Covina.

Buddy “Bud” Merritt Saunders was last seen about 7 p.m. on Aug. 21 at his home in the 1800 block of Molokai Street, the West Covina Police Department reported.

Saunders has been reported missing and later found several times over the past few years. Police have already searched the immediate area of his residence and those areas where he had been previously located.

A Silver Alert was issued by the California Highway Patrol. Hospitals and surrounding law enforcement agencies were also checked.

Saunders was described as a 5-feet-10-inch white male with gray hair, green eyes and a full white beard. He was last seen wearing a gray short sleeve shirt and gray jeans.

The West Covina Police Department urged anyone with information regarding Saunders’ whereabouts to call them at 626-939-8500 or their local police agency and refer to case number 20-4739.
