Police Investigating Fatal Shooting in Indio

Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Saturday in Indio.

It happened just before 2 a.m. at Solano Avenue and Sundial Street, according to Indio Police Department spokesman Ben Guitron.

The male victim was found outside a vehicle with a gunshot wound and died at the scene, he said. No motive has been identified by investigators.

Police asked that anyone with information about the shooting call the IPD at 760-391-4051.
