19-year-old shot to death in Santa Monica

SANTA MONICA — A man was shot to death in Santa Monica, and a suspect was in custody, authorities said.

The homicide occurred at 6:35 p.m. Sunday on the 900 block of Lincoln Boulevard, said Santa Monica police Sgt. D. Hicks.

The 19-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, Hicks said.

A suspect was in custody, he said. The police sergeant said he was not at liberty to release more information.
