Two People Killed in Freeway Crash in Fullerton Identified

Two people in the same car killed in a crash on a freeway in Fullerton were identified Sunday by the Orange County coroner’s office.
The crash that took the lives of Shirley Albavera, 28, of Anaheim and Saul Bahena Jr., 30, of Ontario took place at about 11:20 p.m. Thursday on the southbound Orange (57) Freeway, just south of Chapman Avenue, the coroner’s office reported.
Both victims died at the scene, the coroner’s office said.
Albavera was the driver of the vehicle and Bahena was her passenger, the coroner reported.
The crash was being investigated by the California Highway Patrol’s Santa Ana office.
