Man Fatally Shot in Willowbrook

A man was fatally shot late Monday afternoon in unincorporated Willowbrook, and the assailant was at large, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported.

Deputies were called about 4:10 p.m. to the 13500 block of San Pedro Street, near East 135th Street, Deputy Joana Warren said.

The man, who was not immediately identified, died at the scene, Warren said.

Anyone with information on the shooting was asked to call the sheriff’s department’s Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500.
