Pedestrian Killed in Santa Ana Crash

A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle in Santa Ana, and police Monday were investigating the circumstances of the death.

The crash was reported at 7:13 p.m. Sunday in the 1200 block of West First Street, according to the Santa Ana Police Department.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Information on his identity was not available.

The motorist was interviewed by police. Alcohol was not believed to have been a factor in the crash, police said.
